Job Description
Northeast Natural Energy, a growing natural gas exploration and production company, is seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Administrative Assistant for its Morgantown, WV office. This is an in office position – remote work is not available. Qualified candidates must possess experience in natural gas permitting and regulatory compliance. Additional requirements and duties for this position are listed below.
Position Duties:
- Assist in regulatory permit applications, notices, and tracking. This includes coordination with multiple departments to assemble, mail, and track regulatory notices to various parties.
- Prepare, submit and track Class II legal ads for permitting.
- Provide support for Compliance and Reporting, including assist with compiling interdepartmental data, creating reports and submitting timely records, preparation of compliance documents for field distribution, and order/schedule signage distribution for compliance.
- Request and distribute 911 addresses for well site locations.
- Assist in maintaining files and various regulatory tracking spreadsheets.
- Handle front desk receptionist duties as well as provide general administrative office support including processing and organizing office supply orders, contacting resources for IT issues, equipment maintenance, parking, cleaning services, etc.
Requirements Include:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, permitting, land administration or other related field is required and prior experience in an administrative support capacity is required.
- Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills. The ability to comprehend and communicate orally and through written communication is also required.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to complete mail merges is required.
