Job Description

NNE is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for its Morgantown, WV office. The selected candidate will collaborate with colleagues across the organization to prepare monthly corporate financial models, analyze and evaluate diverse projects and ventures, develop financial model sensitivities, and draft comprehensive reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings. This position requires the candidate to work on-site and not remotely.

Position Duties:

  • Develop and analyze monthly, quarterly, annual, and multiyear operational and financial forecasts, considering various scenarios and sensitivity analyses, and analysis of results for use in making investment decisions and allocation of capital.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly financial forecasts and work with other members of the operations and finance team to develop and monitor the forecasts versus actual results.
  • Develop financial and other models and analyses to support strategic initiatives of the company including monitoring of projected liquidity, compliance with financial and other covenants, etc.
  • Develop and maintain various financial and nonfinancial reports as requested including monitoring of industry, government, investment banking, and competitor reports / presentations, benchmarking of competitor results, etc.
  • Review of historical and proposed transactions to determine the impact on projected results of operations, cash flow, and liquidity.
  • Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with CPA designation or MBA.
  • Three plus years’ financial analyst, investment banking, accounting, or finance experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency. Excellent presentation abilities.
  • Creative thinker able to prioritize and meet deadlines. Social perceptiveness and ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Effective in both independent and team settings in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, presentation standards, and GAAP.
